3-D printing

I took a beginning level 3-D printing class.  I have never used a 3-D printer and struggled with thinking in 3-D mode versus the 2-D.  I made a sign to hang in my studio.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #248

On red tissue paper stamp the lips image (Stampendous) with Archival Ink Jet Black and let dry.  Crumple up and then flatten.  Adhere to chipboard tag that has been gessoed.  Tear a strip of decorative packing tape and adhere to the tag.  Enhance the tape with graphite.  Stamp the image (Viva Las Vegas Stamps) on a piece of kraft cardstock with Archival Ink Jet Black.  Cut out and adhere to the tag.  Adhere the decorative packing tape to a piece of text weight paper (to make it easier to cut out).  Draw wonky circles with graphite and cut out.  Adhere to the tag.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #247

On  piece of vintage sheet music brush rubber cement and let cure.  I let it cure overnight to ensure it is completely dry.  Paint over the sheet music with a red water soluble oil pastel and activate with water.  Let dry and then rub off rubber cement.  Adhere to a chipboard tag.  Adhere red washi tape.  Color the flower image (Stitch Back in Twine) with Inktense pencils.  Blend with water and let dry.  Cut out, emphasis the edges with a black marker and adhere to the tag.  Doodle on the image to create stamen.  Outline the image with graphite color Stabilo Marks All pencil and blend with water.

The flowergirl image is a digi image I  won in a challenge.  It is from Stitch back in Twine

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #245

Paint a chipboard tag with gesso and let dry.  Using a paint brush and my finger I painted and blended several colors of acrylic paint.  Let dry.  Stamp the images on the tag.  The couple is from Stampotique, the numbers are from Stampers Anonymous and the script is from A Stamp In The Hand.  All stamp was done with Archival Ink Jet Black.

On this tag, I used the script stamp from A Stamp in The Hand to create depth to my collage.  This is for my personal challenge to use this stamp as many ways as possible.
